Considering that the Stansport Portable Stainless Steel Propane Barbeque Grill only received an average of 1.6 stars out of 5 from the reviewers on Amazon you should already know that this is not a great choice for a portable gas grill.  The reviewers are not impressed with much more than the cheap price tag that goes along with this grill.

The reviews are far from positive about this portable grill and it was hard to find much of anything positive about this grill.  There are many choices for portable grills and many of them have very positive reviews that have been posted on them.  This is not one of those grills.

One reviewer went as far as to mention that he was out on a camping trip and the grill nearly blew up as flames shot out of the top of it.  It actually caught his wood table on fire and the only way he could get the grill to turn off was to remove the propane.  This does not make this grill safe at all and it could start a fire on your table when you are out camping or tailgating.

Another reviewer did say that he did not expect it to be as good as many of the more expensive grills out there, but the grill showed up without some of the parts and could not get them from the manufacturer. The customer service is nearly nonexistent according to this reviewer and they said it was a complete waste of the $45 they spent for the grill.
